I knew as soon as I got the inquiry in my inbox that I HAD to shoot this wedding. Which is perfect because Connor, who send the email stated he knew he HAD to hire me – it was fate. I love when a website visit and an email is all it takes to show a real connection. Connor and I had our consultation and somehow 2 hours flew by. I loved hearing him talk about his love for Daniel and their story. They picked a beautiful location, The Creek Club at I’on a Mount Pleasant wedding venue, to celebrate with their favorite people. It’s just outside of Charleston, SC along the water, providing a quiet place with a STUNNING view at sunset. I quickly fell in love with the venue and the people at the wedding. These two grooms have beautiful hearts and the only thing I would change is moving them closer to me so we can be friends! They made me feel like a guest and were focused on the most important thing. Having a good time with the people they love. So thankful for couples like these and to make a trip down for a Charleston Wedding!
Connor and Daniel kept things simple and DIY’ed much of their florals and decor, but the venue took care of the amazing catering that included shrimp and grits, pimiento cheese (yes.), and bruschetta, and they took great care of folks needing gluten free options.
