Returning to UNC Chapel Hill for Family Photos
I photographed Caitlin and Lacey’s wedding in Winston Salem way back in 2015, which these days feels like a lifetime ago. Since then I’ve had the honor of photographing their maternity and newborn session for their sweet boy. Time has passed and we moved to different cities, so it made my heart so happy when they were up for coming back to Caitlin’s alma mater, UNC Chapel Hill, for a family session around campus. When they visit UNCC they always visit the classics; the bell tower and the old well. I love these charming historic spots, and the whole campus is really a perfect backdrop for a family to explore. It was a joy to see them as parents to a sweet boy running around and eager to play and show me his trains. I liked that I could take some of just the two of them while he contently explored and played in the background. I’m a big fan of letting kids be kids, and if they are always on the move, it’s ok for them to be moving in the photos. We got some great moments and had a great time!
