A classic wedding at The Maxwell is the perfect backdrop for a day to remember. This wedding was was both a classic wedding and a nod to ditching some traditions and doing what you want. Taylor and Kieran are college sweethearts and chose to celebrate where Taylor grew up. The Maxwell is a perfect canvas for a timeless black and white color palette with accents of gold and greenery. I absolutely love the black bridesmaids dresses and the statement florals around the sweetheart table and mantel in the reception hall. It was a gorgeous day where we seemed to experience all weather imaginable. Bight and sunny, cloudy, and pouring rain that quickly dried up with a rainbow. Luckily, they were able to hold their ceremony outside in front of stunning columns of greenery and white flowers.
Taylor and Kieran were incredibly relaxed and there for a good time. You could tell that time with their friends was most important to them while the families partied hard. They ditched their formal attire for epic black and white bride and group sweatshirts once dancing started, which seems very Gen Z to me in the best way – I hope I see more cozy clothes coming out during the party!
