This is hands down my favorite styled shoot to date. When Lauren of Elle M Events came to me with the idea of an Old World Shoot inside of a venue I’ve been dreaming of photographing, I was ecstatic. I’m so in love with the color scheme with these deep blues and greens, including the blue accent on the dress (why not add some color?), and the sun rays shining through the lofty mill windows was heavenly. Also, the ROOTS Catering set up that looked like it came right out of a European market? I need it. Really every bit of this blew me away, including the simple but amazing cake and the beautiful details of the invitations. It was such an honor to work with a dream team of vendors. Please please please check them out!Read More
Having beautiful photos is all about light. The location doesn’t really matter as long as there is light pouring into windows and giving life to a space. Luckily, Langtree Plantation has both a breathtaking space and so many windows to capture spacial moments perfectly. The best part? I got to use both to document a childhood friend get married. Kristen and I go way back…I honestly don’t even know how ago we met, but we were little ones. It’s always a true honor to be asked to document this day, especially when it’s someone you know. I’m so glad I got to be a part of her and Nick’s celebration - they are beyond kind, their families are filled with joy and celebration, and you could tell that everyone that attended was eager to surround these two with love and absolute joy.
Shout out to these AMAZING vendors. These guys are some of my Charlotte, NC favorites!Read More
Gloria and Adam are the sweetest people ever. They originally emailed me stating they were having a “wonderful big fat Greek wedding” and I was pumped. We got to know each other during a engagement session shortly after, then a few months later, they told me they were changing things up. They decided to do what would make them happiest and that was a wedding on the beach, on a weekday, with more time with loved ones. I’m so glad they chose this, because they were all smiles all day, as were their families. Charleston has a special place in my heart so I was over the moon when they chose that as their wedding spot. I can’t get enough of that beach winds, the Charleston charm, and the attention they were able to give their guests with such an intimate setting. I hope you love these moments as much as I did!Read More
