So, fun fact: I'm in a long distance relationship. My boyfriend actually lives in NJ and works in NYC. We met 4 days before he moved up for his job. Crazy, right? While distance can be tough, we are lucky enough to be freelancers, allowing us to make our own schedules and and visit one another frequently. While I'll always choose mountains over city, there is something so beautiful about New York. The history, the diverse people who live there, the stories waiting to be told (short story for you - my hair caught on fire from a candle my last trip). There is always something to do, something to see, something to eat and drink...So of course I had to take advantage of this amazing place!
Shezeen and Jackson went to high school with me in NC, so I was excited to see they are living in NYC now. We decided on the Brooklyn Bridge for our backdrop, because while it's overdone, it is as "New York" as you can get! A huge thank you to these two for bringing those model faces and exploring Brooklyn with me. I'm so excited to add the concrete jungle amongst all my mountain photos. For real though, I'm in the city all the time, so if you or someone you know wants photos there, reach out! I'm alway up for an NYC adventure. <3
